Below you can find the first black and white drawings made for ‘The American Soundtrack’. These drawings were made on A4-paper with a Sakura Pigma Micron 005 pen and black markers. It’s inspired by a roadtrip Siard took through America, visiting New York (City), Brattleboro (Vermont), Boston and New Orleans. It’s also part of the Emma Winnick and Sumner Phoenix story Siard is writing. Part of his process in writing the story for Emma Winnick and Sumner Phoenix is trying to find the right locations for their story and figuring out what their story is about. These drawings showcase that search.
